Our Inspirational Story
nce upon a time, in the challenging year of 2020, a compassionate and determined individual named Colleen fell into an unexpected journey. Her daughter Corrine was overwhelmed by her mother's experience of falling ill, who required extensive support and care, so she began an extraordinary venture ~ Colleen's Care Company.
Witnessing her mother's struggles and the difficulties faced by countless other seniors in similar circumstances, Corrine realized the need for a different kind of care that prioritized seniors' social and emotional well-being. Driven by her love for her mother and her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others, Corrine created a Social and Human Services business that specializes in providing care and socialization services for seniors.
Colleen's Care Company is not just another care provider. We offer friendship and companionship to seniors so they can find solace and a renewed sense of purpose. Corrine and her Trusted Care Companions recognize that loneliness and boredom can be as detrimental to one's health as physical ailments and aim to build a community where seniors can thrive!

Our Protective Care System
At Colleen's Care Company, we take our employee hiring seriously. You can trust that our Care Companions are well-screened, well-trained and well-managed using daily interactive itineraries to provide a consistent routine and structure our clients need. Plus, when people are held accountable to a high standard, it's human nature for employees to strive to do better for themselves and others — it's what makes us the wise choice.
Moreover, our Care Companions are up-to-date with the latest training and credentials and we help them progressively add to their knowledge, so as clients age, they will be ready with the experience needed to be with their clients for Life — our brand promise to you!
Furthermore, should you ever need assistance communicating your desires with your Care Companion, no worries, you’ll have a dedicated Care Consultant who will be your mediator so you can relay your instructions to your Care Companion with ease. However, our aim is for you to bond with your Care Companion by fostering a trusting relationship and friendship whereby communication of your needs and wants are heard and met every time.
Lastly, unlike larger more impersonal healthcare organizations, we offer that personal touch with an open and transparent communication policy that only a local company like ours can provide. Our Screening
Our thorough employee screening process ensures our Care Companions have had the proper reference and vulnerable sector checks, and are TB, flu and COVID compliant. A standard to become a Trusted Care Companion with Collen's Care Company.
Our Credentials
Our Care Companions have undergone comprehensive training programs that cover essential caregiving skills. Our interview process screens candidates for soft skills such as compassion, empathy and caring personalities. Hard skills will consist of knowledge and adeptness in providing personal care assistance, meal preparations, medication reminders, mobility support, light exercise, home management duties and the awareness to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
